  • A Digital Front Door for Civic Legacy
Website Design, Messaging Strategy, UX Architecture

The Winter Park Foundation serves as a quiet force behind the city’s most cherished civic, cultural, and environmental projects. As the organization sought to expand its impact and reach a new generation of donors and residents, it became clear that their digital presence needed a thoughtful overhaul—one that reflected both legacy and leadership.

    Challenge
The existing site lacked clarity, cohesion, and functionality. The Foundation needed more than a brochure site—it needed a strategic platform to tell its story, attract aligned donors, and clearly communicate its mission across generations.

    Solution
Culminator led the website redesign effort, in collaboration with Jeffrey Blydenburgh and Mark Levchenko, who provided historical context, civic insight, and board-level alignment. The goal: build a digital home that felt dignified but not distant, informative but never overwhelming.

    Design & UX
The site’s structure was reorganized to surface the Foundation’s impact—past, present, and future—through intuitive navigation and story-driven sections. A clean, editorial design style brought warmth and transparency to funding priorities, with sections for initiatives, donor impact, governance, and the legacy of city stewardship.

    Tone & Messaging
Copy was streamlined to feel both accessible and elevated—striking a balance between civic formality and community engagement. The call to action was simple: support a legacy of good.

    Result
The new winterparkfoundation.org now serves as a modern, mobile-friendly platform that reflects the Foundation’s integrity and ambition. It welcomes both long-time benefactors and new community advocates with clarity, credibility, and heart.
